Albert Instant Advance
Albert Instant Advance lets you borrow $25 to $1,000 against your next paycheck. There is no interest, no late fees, and no credit check, though few people get the full $1,000. Albert also sells Instant Loan and Instant Line of Credit, but this page covers Instant Advance only. You repay in 6 days, with one 7-day extension available in the app.

- Eligibility
- You need an active Albert Cash account with a long transaction history to use Instant Advance. Albert also checks consumer-report data. It doesn't say whether direct deposit affects your limit, so we can't confirm that either way. Instant Loan and Instant Line of Credit are different Albert products with different rules. Both can carry late fees and show up on your credit report, so check which one you were offered.
Pros & cons
Pros
- You can take up to 6 advances in one 30-day stretch.
- No subscription needed. Optional plans start at $19.99 if you want more.
- Miss a payment and Albert won't report it to a credit bureau.
Cons
- The catch: you won't see the draw fee until you're about to confirm it.
- Albert also sells Instant Loan and Instant Line of Credit under near-identical names. Instant Loan can charge up to 36% APR and hit your credit score.
- Genius costs $39.99 a month, and it's easy to mistake for required.
